Hello!

Thank you for booking a photoshoot with me. I cannot wait to meet you!

I have put together a little welcome guide to help you plan for your photoshoot and know what to expect, what to wear, what to bring and what happens after the shoot.

Really looking forward to taking your photos soon.

The Process

  • Please sign your contract and fill out your questionnaire which I will send you so I can find out as much as possible about you to prepare for the shoot. Have a think about what to wear and source anything you may need. The best outfits are neutral with lots of texture. (see style guide below)

  • make sure you have your outfits laid out on the bed and that everything is washed and ironed!

  • Arrive at the River Mouse, Hidden Store ( 2 Pierrepont Pl, Bath BA1 1JX) in plenty of time to go through the shop and be ready for your session.

    The session will be indoors at the back of the shop and it will only run for 20 minutes, if you are late I will have to cancel your session.

  • Within one week of the session, I will send you your online gallery of 15 images via PICTIME. You will receive one digital download. You have 48 hours to choose which you would like.

    There is no obligation to purchase additional digital downloads or prints via my store, however I offer competitive rates and the quality is fantastic.

What to bring?

Any make up, a change clothes you need for your session. Your purse if you want to purchase anything at the shop (it is amazing!).

After your session:

Around one week after your session you will receive up to 15 images from our session via PicTime. You will have 48 hours to choose your digital download.

If you would like prints then do not hesitate to get in touch. I use some gorgeous papers and have very competitive rates. You will receive a £50 money off voucher for you or a friend redeemable on any future photoshoot including branding and portraits (valid for a year).

Style Guide

The question I am asked the most is 'what do I wear to my shoot?'

The idea behind this photoshoot is to have some lovely portraits for your work, creative project or of your family group.

In terms of outfits, think creams, beiges and some touches of colour. Please don’t wear bold patterns if you can help it! The more neutral the better and textures look great too.

Parents: Jeans and a plain shirt will look great, equally a neural coloured dress will work too. If you are coming with your mum or kids, put out your outfits and see if they work well together but try not to all match identically.

I have a couple of dresses you are welcome to try on the day but just let me know in advance if you want this, as we will need to coordinate you changing in time.

FAQs

  • All my sessions are relaxed and informal, and I go with the pace of children and families - so if your little ones want to bring their favourite toy, musical instrument or do a funky dance- I am here for it all!

  • The photoshoot will run for 25 minutes with a 5 minute intro so it will be speedy and fun and you can get on with the rest of your day!

  • You will receive a gallery of up to 15 beautifully edited and refined to choose from, which will be delivered by Mother’s Day

  • Ahead of Mother’s Day on 15th March, you’ll get:
    - One of your images printed and beautifully framed
    - A dried flower posy created by floral dreamboats, @nicebunch
    - Three     digital images, and the option to buy more

  • The best style for this photoshoot is neutrals with touches of colour.
