Hello!

Thank you for booking a photoshoot with me. I cannot wait to meet you!

I have put together a little welcome guide to help you plan for your photoshoot and know what to expect, what to wear, what to bring and what happens after the shoot.

The Process

  • Please sign your contract and fill out your questionnaire which I will send you so I can find out as much as possible about you and your family. Have a think about what to wear and source anything you may need. The best outfits are neutral with lots of texture. (see style guide below)

  • make sure you have your outfits laid out on the bed and that everything is washed and ironed!

  • Arrive at the American Museum in plenty of time to find parking and walk to to the ticket office. You are required to purchase your ticket for the museum and gardens. If you have any issues, then let a member of staff know and they can get you to the front of the queue.

    The session will be outdoors in the garden about 10 minute walk from the entrance and it will only run for 10 minutes, if you are late I will have to cancel your session.

    If it rains we will do a back up option indoors.

  • Within two weeks of the session, I will send you your online gallery via PICTIME. You will receive a gallery of up to 10 images & each photo is £15 ri buy or £75 for the whole gallery as a digital download.

    You have 72 hours to select your images to download before the gallery is archived.

    There is no obligation to purchase additional digital downloads or prints via my store, however I offer competitive rates and the quality is fantastic.

What to bring?

The museum cafe gets busy, so do bring some snacks if you need them to keep going! I will have everything you need for the photoshoot, so just pack for your day out at the museum.

After your session:

Around two weeks after your session you will receive up to 10 images from our session via PicTime. You will have 72 hours to choose the digital downloads or prints you wish to purchase.

If you would like prints then do not hesitate to get in touch. I use some gorgeous papers and have very competitive rates. You will receive a £50 money off voucher for you or a friend redeemable on any future photoshoot including branding and portraits (valid for a year).

Style Guide

The question I am asked the most is 'what do I wear to my shoot?'

The idea behind this photoshoot is to have some sunshine Easter Portraits for you, your partner or family (whoever you are bringing along!)

In terms of outfits, think creams, beiges and some touches of yellow. Please don’t wear bold patterns if you can help it! The more neutral the better.

Parents: Jeans and a plain shirt will look great, equally a neural coloured dress will work too. Put out your outfits and see if they work well together but try not to all match identically.

I have a couple of dresses you are welcome to try on the day but just let me know in advance if you want this, as we will need to coordinate you changing in time.

FAQs

  • All my sessions are relaxed and informal, and I go with the pace of children and families - so if your little ones want to bring their favourite toy, musical instrument or do a funky dance- I am here for it all!

  • The photoshoot will run for 10 minutes so it will be speedy and fun and you can get on with the rest of your day!

  • You will receive a gallery of up to 10 beautifully edited and refined to choose from, which will be delivered after two weeks!

  • Each family will also receive a seasonal goody-bag to take home. You can also purchase seasonal cards and prints.

  • The best style for this photoshoot is neutrals with touches of yellows.
